Radio

A lifelong fan of country music, Vicki’s professional radio journey began at KZLA/Los Angeles, working as Programming Assistant under RJ Curtis. She went on to hold producer positions with KKGO/Los Angeles and the nationally syndicated After MidNite before landing her first on-air gig doing weekends at the legendary KUZZ/Bakersfield.

She returned to the Inland Empire to hold down the Evening Show at the station she’d grown up listening to: KFRG/Riverside-San Bernardino, earning the station “some of the best ratings we’ve ever seen at night,” according to one of her Program Directors. Known on the air as “Pepper,” she currently holds down a weekend airshift and serves as Afternoon Traffic Reporter and Public Affairs Director not only for Audacy’s Riverside County stations (KFRG, KXFG, and KQPS), but also for San Diego’s (KSON, KBZT, KYXY, KXSN, and KWFN).

Her success has garnered her recognition which includes Finalist for Media Talent of the Year at the Inland Empire Media Awards, and notable appreciation from the Ad Council.

Her recognized charitable work for the community has earned her Third Place in a Grape Stomp for charity, where she selected the Las Vegas Victims Fund as her beneficiary, and she’s driven in an All Women’s Demolition Derby to benefit the American Cancer Society (she’s much better at stomping grapes than she is at crashing cars).
